Honey Goat Montchevré

Honey Goat Montchevré

This cheese is creamy and rich, as a goat cheese should be.

Montchevré Goat cheese is only aged for a few weeks, so it is firm enough to slice but creamy enough to spread. The addition of honey gives the cheese a sweet taste that is extremely pleasing to the palate, and the sweet side tempers the tanginess of the goat cheese.

As the largest goat cheese manufacturer in the United States, Montchevré converts 85 million pounds of goat milk into 12 million pounds of cheese each year. Making outstanding cheeses requires the highest-quality milk. One of Montchevré’s greatest accomplishments has been establishing the largest network of independent goat milk farmers in the United States.
